NASA, the Smithsonian Institution, and the ILRS were pleased to host the 13th International Laser Ranging Workshop in Washington D.C. on October 07 through 11, 2002. at the Hyatt Regency Washington, D.C. on Capital Hill, located in downtown D.C. A form for registering for the conference was active during the meeting registration period.

Note: Any individual planning to attend the workshop MUST register.

Things to Remember

A registration fee (payable PRIOR to the workshop) of $200.00 (U.S.) will be charged to each attendee (does NOT include $40.00 fee for banquet). Registration fees will be accepted via: check, Mastercard, Visa, or American Express. To pay in advance please print out the PDF registration form and fax the hardcopy to Kathy Regul, 301-345-4659.

If you are paying by purchase order (PO) or Training Request, please note that a fax copy of the PO will not be accepted; the original, along with a copy of your registration form, must be sent by U.S. Mail to the address shown below. ALL PO’s OR TRAINING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE PAYABLE TO RS INFORMATION SYSTEMS. You may pre-register via fax in advance of mailing the PO or Training Request; however, we must receive the “original” as soon as possible thereafter. Checks must also be made payable to RS Information Systems.

Once you have submitted your completed registration form and payment, you will receive a detailed confirmation letter via either email or fax. Confirmations will be sent out no sooner than one (1) month prior to the conference. Please check the information carefully and follow the instructions on the form to make any corrections.

Tour of the GGAO Facility on Wednesday, October 9, 2002

If you plan to attend the GGAO Tour on Wednesday, October 9, 2002, and you are a Foreign Visitor, please follow the instructions below. Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. will be hosting a barbeque prior to the tours; it promises to be quite an eveniz not to be missed! There is no extra charge for this outing.

ALL foreign visitors must complete the Foreign Visitor Information Sheet along with your registration form and ALSO fax a copy of your visa and/or passport with photo. We ALSO ask that you also fax a brief bio or resume.

Please be advised that even if you possess a Green Card, you still must complete the Foreign Visitor Information Sheet. Please remember that failure to follow the instructions above, and register prior to the deadlines stated, you will not be able to participate in the GGAO Tour. NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Security will not make any exceptions.

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO BRING THE FOLLOWING FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION THAT PERTAIN TO YOU, WITH YOU TO THE CONFERENCE:

• PICTURE ID
• GREEN CARD
• PASSPORT

U.S. Citizens planning to participate in the GGAO Facility Tour only need to follow the registration process and select the GGAO Tour option on the Registration Form.

Additional information regarding the GGAO Tour, such as the onsite procedure for boarding the buses, etc. will be provided to registered attendees at a later date.
