Scientific or Engineering Objectives of Mission: To provide Position and Timing information to users
Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) Role of Mission: To obtain the orbit of IRNSS satellites and to use it for calibration of the orbit determined from other sources
Anticipated Launch Date: Second Quarter of 2012
Expected Mission Duration: 10 years
