RetroReflector Array (RRA) Characteristics:
The IRNSS satellite has retroreflector array consisting of 40 corner cubes; each cube is 29.7 mm in height and 38 mm in diameter. These cubes were manufactured in India; design, assembly and testing was performed by LEOS/ISRO, Bangalore, India. The dihedral angle of the cube is 0 degrees with a tolerance of 0.5 arc seconds. The cubes are made of Suprasil-311. Detailed drawings of the retroreflector array and cubes are available.
