TechnoSat satellite

Mission Objectives:

In orbit demonstration of seven technology payloads and in orbit demonstration of a newly developed 20 kg platform.

Role of SLR:

The laser ranging retroreflectors are one of the seven technology demonstartion payloads of the TechnoSat mission. With this mission, it shall be demonstrated that small (10mm diameter), commercial and therefore relatively inexpensive reflectors are suitable for SLR. Furthermore, their performance shall be evaluated and spin determination shall be performed based on the 14 retroreflectors that are distributed over the satellite's surface.
